剧情：
伊拉克战役时代,来自美国德州的19岁技巧兵比利·林恩（乔·阿尔文 Joe Alwyn 饰）由于一段偶尔拍摄的视频而众所周知。那是一次范围不大却剧烈异常的遭受战,战役中林恩地点的B班班长（范·迪塞尔 Vin Diesel 饰）受到外地武装分子的伏击跟挟制,而林恩为了营救班长不吝逼上梁山赴汤蹈火。视频颁布于世让他成为全美大众所崇敬的豪杰,但是却鲜有人懂得他跟战友们所阅历的所有。为了埋葬班长,B班掉掉落了长久的休假,因而他们得以受邀加入一场在德州举办的橄榄球竞赛。林恩的姊姊因某变乱深感愧疚,她生机弟弟能借此机遇归来一般生涯。而四周的经纪人!球迷!大老板!一般大众则对战役!卫国!士兵有着种种百般想固然的懂得。球场上的庆典隆重揭幕,林恩跟战友们的心却更加繁重与烦躁…… 本片依据作家本·方丹（Ben Fountain）的同名小说改编。
